How do I use the Colgate Blast Water Flosser?

Which water flosser setting is good for sensitive gums or users new to water flossing?

We recommend starting on the Gentle mode on the Blast or Blast Series 2, and gradually increase modes if desired.
Which setting is strongest?

If you're using the Blast Water flosser, the Regular pressure mode is the strongest setting.

If you have a Blast Series 2, select either the Deep Clean mode, which provides strong pressure for deep cleaning, or the Massage mode, which provides a pulsation pattern for gum massaging.
Can I use mouthwash or other solutions in the Water Flosser?

You can fill the water tank with cold or warm water or with mouthwash. You may use water up to 40C. After use, wash the device thoroughly to avoid contamination of the tank and clogging of internal parts.

Do not add salt, iodine, bleaching agent, or insoluble essential oils to the tank as these may affect the product performance and shorten the product life.
Can my children use this Water Flosser?

It is suitable for children aged 8 and over with adult supervision.
What if my Water Flosser is leaking?

If the nozzle is properly fitted Colgate Blast Water Flosser will not leak. Ensure that you've pushed the nozzle completely into the body of your Colgate Blast Water Flosser - you should hear a click when the nozzle has been correctly inserted.
The water is not dispensing from my Blast Series 2 Water Flosser?

Try this! If water is not dispensing (which can happen on first use or after long periods of storage) do the following:

1. Fill the water tank so it is two-thirds full

2. Insert the nozzle into the nozzle jack

3. Turn on the Blast and select Deep Clean mode

4. Keep the power on and flip your Blast upside down and then back upright. Repeat until water starts flowing.

5. Let's get flossing！
