Changing our habits to make an impact

You can make a big difference every time you brush by changing a few small actions.
Here are a few examples of habits that the whole family can participate in.

Help save water

Did you know that 42% of American adults admit to leaving the tap running when they brush their teeth? Water is one of our most important resources and you can save up to 64 cups of water every time you brush just by turning off the faucet.

Could you even imagine a day without water? Consider these facts.

Recycle your toothpaste tube

Did you know that you can help the environment by recycling your toothpaste tube? Each year 1.5 billion toothpaste tubes are thrown away. Our recyclable tube* can help make a difference. All you have to do is use it and then recycle it.
Step 1:

Look for the symbol on the back and simply squeeze out as much of the toothpaste from the tube as you can.

Step 2:

Put the cap back on and place the tube in your recycling bin. No need to cut open the tube and rinse to remove excess toothpaste.

Step 3:

The tube is ground up at the recycling facility and goes through a rinsing process, where all the residual toothpaste is washed off the plastic.

Step 4:

After recycling, the tube is turned into other useful products.
