Colgate-Palmolive is the first major and long term partner of The Smith Family's Learning For Life program. Colgate has provided support to The Smith Family since 1992. The Learning For Life program helps families break the cycle of poverty through educational opportunities including financial and personal assistance.
Colgate supports two Education Support Workers in each of its manufacturing locations in Australia, helping 940 disadvantaged young Australians each year for three years.
This will contribute to The Smith Family reaching its target of 70,000 students on Learning For Life, representing more than three times present student numbers.
Colgate staff are involved in the partnership through fundraising activities, monetary donations, volunteering and mentoring.
